Job Traveler

A real refusal, in four steps

Type 17.179. See the sheet say no.

This is the block from a Detroit Series 60 job. Its minimum finished deck height is 17.185 inches. Follow the reading from the gauge to the printed traveler, then use the same job in a sandbox that wipes itself clean nightly.

No email, password or card. Demo measurements do not survive the nightly reset.

Detroit Series 60 ยท finished deck height

Minimum deck height 17.1850 in
Final deck height 17.1790 in Below min Minimum 17.1850 in
Sign-off refused. Final deck height is below its service minimum.
The bad value saves because hiding it would teach the bench not to record it. The server refuses sign-off, and the printed demo copy keeps the verdict in words.

Captioned walkthrough

What happens after the gauge comes down

One minute, captioned and silent. Watch a guest record 17.179 inches, see the below-limit finding and sign-off refusal, then see a separate sandbox print example naming the manager who approved an exception.
  1. Record

Enter 17.179 for final deck height. The value is kept with the person, time and limit that judged it.

  2. Judge

The row says BELOW MIN against 17.1850. The warning uses words as well as colour.

  3. Refuse

Sign-off stays unavailable to a guest. A shop manager still cannot sign this job until every hard stop is settled.

  4. Print

The demo traveler prints with a DEMO watermark, so it cannot be mistaken for a customer's warranty record.

The sandbox boundary

Enough access to test the claim, and no more

A guest can open the sample job, record measurements and print a watermarked traveler. Guest sessions cannot sign off, authorise an override, create a job, or open staff, shop, billing and setup screens. The sample is rebuilt nightly, so one visitor never inherits another visitor's work.
