Your shop has its own address
Nobody signs in on this page, and nothing on it can sign you in. Every shop running Job Traveler has an address of its own, and the sign in screen lives there.
yourshop.jobtraveler.app
The first part is the name your shop chose when the account was set up. A shop called Bay City Diesel might have taken bay-city or baycity, so working it out from the shop's name is guesswork. It is quicker to find it written down, and it is written down in more places than people expect.
Where to find yours
The device that already has it
If Job Traveler is installed on the shop tablet or on a phone, opening it goes to your address with nothing to type. On a computer the address is in the browser history, and usually in the bookmarks.
The welcome email
The message that set the shop up carries the address and the owner's username. Searching a mailbox for jobtraveler.app finds it long after anybody remembers where it was filed.
Whoever set the shop up
Usually the owner or one of the managers. They open the address every working day, so asking costs a phone call.
Why this page will not look it up for you
A box here that turned a shop's name into its address would answer for anyone who typed one, including somebody working down a list of shop names. So this address holds no account information and answers no questions about one. Losing an address costs you a morning. A public index of every shop using the product would cost all of them at once, and there would be no taking it back.
Nothing here will ever ask for your password
Job Traveler does not ask for a username or a password anywhere on jobtraveler.app, and it will not start. This address field is only a shortcut to the shop address you type. If a page at this address asks you for either, you are not looking at us. Close it and go to your own shop address, which is the only place your sign in belongs.
If you cannot get in
A forgotten password is settled inside the shop rather than by us. Any manager can set a new one for any account in the shop, from the Users screen under Settings, and it works immediately. That covers a tech who cannot remember theirs and a manager who cannot remember their own, since one manager can reset another. The app also refuses to leave a shop without an active manager, so there is normally somebody a few feet away who can do it.
The case that is genuinely stuck is a shop whose only manager is locked out. There is no reset link for that today. Recovery by email is written into the plan and has not been built, and an address published before the mail path exists would be an address that quietly loses whatever you send it. Until that lands, the way through is the person who set your shop up for you.
If that person is not reachable either, write to us and say which shop you are. We can put a manager back in. Recovery by email, where you reset your own password without asking anybody, is still to be built, and until it is the contact form is the way through rather than a link on this page.
